CRP Corpus Christi Texas Sticker

$7.25

It’s Where I’m From

CRP is the international airport code for the Corpus Christi International Airport, and to travelers everywhere, it means “Corpus Christi, Texas.”  To traveling Corpus Christians, it simply means “home.”  country_codes3

In the “old days,” Europeans put oval country-code stickers on their cars, so no matter where they traveled, people would know where they were from. The oval stickers have all but disappeared in Europe, but we’re introducing them here!

Show your pride in your hometown by proudly displaying the CRP car sticker where ever you go!

FAQ

Do you have other sizes?
Sort of.  Fun fact:  It’s come to our attention that a lot of our customers do not realize that every sticker pack we sell actually contains TWO stickers.  A big one, and a little one.  It’s true. Check it out:

I see you use PayPal, but I don’t have a PayPal Account.
We use PayPal as our credit card processor.  You do not need a paypal account — just get to the “checkout” screen and select “Pay with Debit or Credit Card,” (see the graphic below) and it’ll take your credit card information.

What’s the difference between a “glossy” finish and a “matte” finish?
One has a shiny finish, the other does not.  This is pure preference on your part.  We apply your choice of a “glossy” or “matte” laminate over the printed surface of your MI Sticker to seal and protect it from the effects of weather and sun.  Both laminates provide the same amount of UV protection, and both will give your MI sticker a service life of about 5 years.  So functionally, you can’t go wrong either way.  What do you prefer?

How do you Ship?
We ship USPS at no additional charge to you.  We ship from Austin, Texas so most points in the continental US can expect delivery in three or four days.  Other US destinations may take a little longer.

Where are you located?
We are from Georgetown, Texas, an awesome little community 30 miles north of Austin.

Do you do more than just ELP Stickers?  or Can you do something custom?
Oh gosh yes.  If you haven’t checked out our whole website yet, please visit the Travel Sticker Club! We specialize in Oval “Country Code” Car stickers, and we do it for every country in North America, every state in the United States, and our North American city list is getting bigger every day!  And yes, we can do anything custom with a product called Imagine That.  Doesn’t have to be a city, it just needs to fit in the oval.  BUT, if you want one for a city we haven’t done yet, we’ll make it for you without additional cost through a product called DIY.

Do you do other stickers besides Oval “Country Code” Stickers?
Not currently.  We’re still adding US Cities to our inventory, so we’ve still got a lot to do.   But  we DO have some ideas ….

Do you ever run sales?
Sort of.  Here’s a little-known fact.  We actually package our oval car stickers 2 ways, meaning there are two ways to buy it:  The Single Sticker Pack and the 3-Sticker Pack.  If you need more than 1 sticker, the “3-Pack” is a crazy good deal.  It’s 33% off.  Every day.  So lets say you need six UT Stickers.  You’ll save BIG by buying 2 3-Packs instead of 6 singles.  That’s the kind of “sale” we offer ever day.  You’ll find the 3-Pack option listed on every product panel.

What about a volume discount? or I’d like to retail sell these!

I don’t like to buy things online.  Is there somewhere I can buy them off-the-shelf?
No.  We’re a little mom-and-pop operation, and are only able to do what we do thanks to the miracle of the internet.

Your oval stickers are kind of plain.  Why don’t you dress it up with cool graphics and fonts?

GREAT question!  You can read all about it here.  The oval “country code” stickers are actually a real thing, and our stickers try to be as “authentic” to the spirit of the original as possible.  In 1949 (and again in 1968), the United Nations commissioned a “Geneva Convention on Road Traffic,” wherein it was worked out how member countries would deal with international traffic on domestic roads.  For example, how would France deal with Spanish cars driving on French roads, etc.  Part of that arrangement was the creation of country codes that identified all the worlds countries, and the requirement that foreign cars bear a sticker using these country-codes when traveling outside their home country.  So, Germany became “D,” France became “F,” Great Britain became “GB,” etc.    We have a country code too: USA.  Canada is CDN, and Mexico is MEX.  The stickers needed to be of a certain style and size so they could be easily seen and read.  These days, the country codes are part of the license plate within the European Union, so the stickers are not seen much any more. And we never really used them here, because we only have 2 neighbors.  Our stickers are just for fun — obviously US states are not countries —  but we wanted them to be as “authentic” to the original as possible, so that’s why we don’t go crazy with design and fonts.  If we did, they would not look like international country code stickers, which is the whole point.

I paid $7.25 for my sticker, but when I got it was marked $5.95.  Did I get it on sale?

Sort of.  Prices ARE going up, but not officially until we’ve sold our existing inventory of printed $7.25 stickers.  SO:  come and get ’em while they are still $7.25!!
